Ion exchange resin: The water softener contains an ion exchange resin inside. This resin is composed of small negatively charged spheres that attract and retain the hard minerals present in the water.
Regeneration: Over time, the resin becomes saturated with hard minerals and needs to be regenerated. For this purpose, a salt solution (sodium chloride) is added to the water softener.
Ion exchange: During the regeneration process, the salt solution is passed through the ion exchange resin. The sodium ions present in the salt solution are exchanged with the hard minerals that are attached to the resin. In this way, the hard minerals are released and the resin is again ready for use.
Removal of hard minerals: The salt solution and released hard minerals are removed from the water softener through a drain.
Softened water supply: Once the regeneration process is finished, the water softener is ready to soften the water again. The hard water passes through the ion exchange resin, where the hard minerals are retained and the water becomes soft, free of calcium and magnesium.
It is important to mention that the water softener requires a regular supply of salt for proper operation and regeneration. In addition, periodic maintenance is necessary to ensure that the system is functioning properly and the resin is in good condition.
How Our Process Works
Understanding Our Customers’ Needs
We begin by actively listening to you. What specific water-related problem or need are you experiencing? Do you encounter issues like bad taste, odor, stains, or other concerns?
We ask detailed questions to fully understand your situation and expectations. This helps us define the scope of our work.
Assessment of the Current Situation
We analyze the water quality in your home or business. Our laboratory tests detect minerals, contaminants, pH levels, and other indicators.
We also examine your plumbing system and any existing equipment (such as filters, softeners, pumps, etc.). Are there any evident problems or areas for improvement?
Customized Solution Recommendations
Based on our assessment, we provide specific options to address your issues. This may include:
Filter Installation: We recommend the appropriate filter type based on your needs (e.g., iron filter, activated carbon filter, etc.).
Water Treatment: We offer details on treatment systems such as UV disinfection, reverse osmosis, or water softening.
Customer Education: We explain how to maintain and care for your water system for optimal performance.
Implementation and Follow-Up
Once you choose a solution, we coordinate installation or implementation. Clear instructions on usage and ongoing maintenance are provided. We follow up after installation to ensure your satisfaction and that the problem has been resolved.
